Please help make The Christmas Revels
available to all in 2020!
Due to COVID-19, instead of our usual staged performance of The Christmas Revels, Revels North has created an animated short film that will keep the annual Christmas Revels tradition alive for our audience. All Shall Be Well Again is a surprising, entertaining, and safe alternative to the live production.
Revels North is providing a range of ways for people to view this film in their homes, including for free on New Hampshire PBS and through local media resources such as CATV. We recognize that many families have felt severe financial hardship due to COVID-19, so creating free opportunities to view The Christmas Revels will help bring joy, hope, and light to their holidays. Your generous donation not only supports Revels North, a non-profit arts organization, as we persevere through COVID-19 without our usual revenue from ticket sales to the live production. It also allows us to make this film available to all.
You can also support Revels North with your business by making a purchase at our new online merchandise shop.
Thank you for supporting Revels North!
Revels North Shop!
Revels North has launched a new online shop with a range of merchandise options for the whole family.
Please keep Revels North in mind for your holiday shopping this year. All proceeds from merchandise sales support our year-round programming and our mission to bring tradition to life.
“My husband Peter and I, along with daughters Natalie (12) and May (7) moved to the Upper Valley from Miami in 2017. We didn’t know anyone here; didn’t know how to find our place. It was especially hard on Natalie, who found it hard to make new friends, and felt like she wasn’t good at anything. But she liked to sing and wanted to try Revels. Peter joined, too, to support her.
"They have been with Revels ever since, and it has been transformative for them both. As Natalie put it, “Revels was the first place I ever had a feeling of community,” and May added, “It’s something that I thought Sissy could never do, but she could, and she’s amazing at it!” Peter not only found a welcoming and open-hearted community, but was able to rediscover a love of music and theater that he’d not engaged with since high school. Now, after joining to support Natalie, it has become a central part of his life, too. He will be playing Mr. Wigglesworth in this year’s Christmas Revels.
"The Revels is a real treasure for the Upper Valley—I’ve never known another group like it—and has been a treasure for our family.”
